Default Mobile Me and Exchange

I noticed that after I turned on Exchange push, the top left icon for calendar choice in the calendar application disappeared.

This leads me to believe that you can choose either Exchange or mobile me for calendars but not both.

There is a work around via Entourage (have it sync to ical) and then use mobile me for the push. But I think I like the direct Entourage push better and will see if it will support multiple Exchange calendars.

So Exchange push supports multiple calendars. I guess I can move my .mac calendars into Outlook at the loss of ical consistency across my various macs.

Well, now I feel like a fool. Multiple calendars in Exchange brought back the Calendars button. So maybe we will be able to sync with both .mac and Exchange.....

If I go into the iPhone Settings for Mail, Contacts, and Calender and then into the MobileMe settings on my mac email, I con toggle on the Calendars function. It does not give me any warnings like when I selected Bookmarks. I have a huge amount of data on mobileme calendar and I wanted to be sure this would work before fully engaging so I turned it off immediately.

Conclusion, it looks like it may indeed work.....I will give it a try when I get home tomorrow.
