Default Future MobileMe possibilities.

we've already mentioned a lot in these various threads... figured it would be cool to have a thread dedicated to suggestions and the like.

One thing i would personally like to see is Notes syncing... i make a lot of notes on my MacBook, and would love to have access to them on my iphone... which i don't usually make notes on.

well, that's all i've got for now...

A ToDo list that can allow each item to be set to a particular calendar, set due dates and priorities, and sort by calendar or due dates or priorities (and all 3 within each calendar).

Allow editing of calenar and todo items from the iphone (cannot change the calendar that an entry is made once saved).

Allow calendar entries to Mobile Me via people you permit (ie a secretary can have access to the work only calendar and make changes and new entries from a web browser that will sync to the Mobile Me owner's phone mac and pc).

Those are the ones that I see as being very usefull and necessary though I am sure there are many other little items that will make Mobile Me more functional (ex. mail something that I do not use currently, but would if I could reply to messages from me.com with my work domain....guess thats another feature! ).

Once they get MobileMe solid enough, it would be great to open up the platform a bit to allow third-party extensions, all which will be push-enabled. Any kind of content you could then push to your iPhone would be fantastic. Apple can become a storage home for all your data.

But in the interim, I want to be able to set reminders via the web calendar app, invite people from the web calendar app, performance issues must continue to be a priority and they need to communicate better.

Allow default settings for calendar view. I would like my calendar to always open up to the month view.

Allow Contacts to move from the phone to Mobile Me or at least merge iphone contacts with mobile me.

Right now Mobile Me overwrites the phone contacts if you sync them. Since all of my contacts are on my phone and mobile me has none, guess what, they would be all gone if I set it to sync.

then do a hard-sync first to your computer... to Mail.app, entourage, or Outlook. Then mobile me will take all of your contacts from that.

I would like to see the ability to set reminders from the web interface. It's such a pain. I never use the calendar on the web because this feature is missing.

I agree Joe. I have gone back to Gmail for e-mail too. It just works. No worries about whether e-mails are sent or not.

Let's see. Mobile Me:
1. syncs contacts - cool
2. syncs calender entries - cool
3. syncs bookmarks - meh
4. no pop access for external accounts - sucks
5. additional "me" email address - don't need; except to use as "offline notification" for BeejiveIM

Basically, any new feature would be an improvement, in my opinion, as in its current state, it doesn't really have many.
