Can't even set it up

I try to do the Mobile Me Preferences and then click the Sync Tab, then check the sync box. I get " Unable to register this computer for syncing. Please try again later."

I thought it was my PC so I tried it on my laptop some thing.

Any help?

No help but perhaps information. I had to call Apple support on another issue. While on I asked about my inability to get MobileMe to work and if I should bother going to an Apple store (a 2 hour round trip for me). He said no, just wait a few days, they were having a lot of issues like this with Mobile Me and they would be resolved eventually.

I installed it all; it seemed to work once, since that initial try, when i try to sync from my Mac, my computer freezes!
