That's pretty much what I did. When you backup on Aptbackup, it only takes a second. Did you try to install Aptbackup first, then do the restore last backup on iTunes & finally restore Aptbackup?
How does this actually work? I install it on my wifes 2g phone launched the apt backed up the circle spun for like a second then stopped. Back her stuff on iTunes then pwned to 2.2 then restored thru iTunes launched Cydia and installed aptbackup launched that and hit restore and nothing. Not sure what I did wrong I want to do my 3g but don't want that to happen again.
