I never owned a 3g, I went from a V1 iphone ; that I still have in my possession to the 3gs that I bought the day it came out.

Not sure what's up with that ?

Hi, I recently returned my iPhone 3g to the apple store for a refurbished unit. The reason I'm messaging you is because when I got my new phone and accessed EIC it logged me in as whale_hunter! I assume this must have been your phone at one time, correct? If so what did you return it for? Where did you return it? I want to make sure it was repaired correctly.
