Yeah man dont give up, cause I also wanted to have my iPhone before school started back up and would have been reality accept I got the job at McDonalds we later than what it should have been

Just keep searching man, Im also looking for an iPhone v1 for $250 or under and have actually found some but their condition wasnt that great if you know what I mean. . . but lucky for I can still look at the iPhone 3G cause of the discount I get working at McD so I have a fair choice of either or now

People obviously are still paying it out there for used phones. I sold my 4g last week on ebay for $315 and it had a visible scratch at the top of the screen and scuffed up back. The guy that bought it from me in Florida was very happy to buy it from me. I guess they are a hot item because you can still unlock them.

I would actually like to buy a v1 not because of its unlock-ability, but for its look.

Well I don't really think the V1 looks much different from the 3g at all. The back is the only diff. Also, consider that:

1. You can't use the internet while making a call and,
2. The Edge network is slow as crap and makes using the iphone for internet almost worthless.

I hope you really like the look of the V1 A LOT to give up #1 and #2 above.

How often will one be on the internet when making a call? And Edge is pretty good in my area. Regardless, I prefer the 3g, just not when it comes to looks.

Anyways this entire thread has been going offtopic.

Yeah Pimpboy has been looking for an iPhone since the beginning of summer. . .So I guess Pimpboy you raise the WTB price alittle to attract more people, cause eventhough its not impossible to find an iPhone for under $300 its also not reality... to think that you would find one that cheap.
-I gurantee that you wont see iPhone v1 prices for that low(Under $300) until around the end of this year

So idk either raise the WTB price, or be prepared to wait for a month or two

I can definitely cosign on that, cause eventhough I love the look and design of both iPhone's but theirs something about the aluminum backing and how sometimes it looks like an expensive peice of jewelry of the v1 model
