Got an iMac for Christmas, been using it to sync iPhone. Works great. iCal is cool for syncing your calendar. Makes more sense to sync iPhone to iMac (or i-Anything)

I got a white one, and like you, I got a monitor to go with it to use it as a desktop when at home. This thing is great. I just can't believe how much more powerful this little guy is compared to my old 15.4" HP laptop running Vista. It's almost like night and day.

I just thought I'd provide another little update:

So far, I'm 95% satisfied with my switch to Mac. The only reason I'm missing that last 5% is simply due to the fact that I had been so used to Windows, and am just now dealing with the basic switch troubles. Nothing serious though, it's just different. I am however 100% happy with how well my iPhone syncs and how easy the data transfer to my new MacBook went. I can't believe how much better iTunes runs on a Mac, not to mention how much better EVERYTHING runs compared to my HP Vista powered laptop. If anyone out there is on the fence about switching, I say with complete confidence to go for it. I've been a lifetime Windows user, and I wish I would've switched sooner!

I thought it was just my imagination- iTunes does seem to run faster/better on a Mac.

My desktop is Windows and when I'm home, thats the one I primarily use.... with 1 exception- the season finale of Nip/Tuck.

When the time and money is right I will be happy to buy a macbook pro. At work I ship for customers their HP (mostly) or Sonys back to be serviced. When you see things like that it helps more and more to be part of the IGeneration.
