HIPPO - Mac Mini reinstall
Hey Erik, a friend of mine inherited a mac mini from a recently deceased friend (not of mine so hold the sympathy cards). unfortunately it's password protected so she cant get into it. know where i can find the software to reformat it like new? i dont have the specs unfortunately.

damn, you shoulda PMed me... sorry.
but unfortunately the best place to get those is from apple. If they're like most manufacturer's, they'll charge you a nominal fee... like $30. Or if it has OSX pre-leopard on it (and you would want to upgrade), you could purchase Leopard just about anywhere, and that will work swimmingly.
