Default new mbpro

so i just picked up my new macbook pro today, and i must say, it's AMAZING..

out of curiosity... have there been any mods or hacks to the system as of yet?

i know with an old macbook of mine i was able to google some stuff such as transparent dock icons and modify the stacks and some various other goodies.... any kinda of cool guy stuff?

i also noticed a picture of some guys background or homescreen on the web somewhere that listed his hd capacity/ battery life/ mail messages/ etc... is this a theme that can be downloaded or how would i go about locating that?

im wanting it to be along the lines of something similiar to what a blackberry is capable of doing...

Thanks!

Check out candybar for theming.

As for the hdd, battery, etc info, I'm not sure what that may have been... But there is a cool widget called iStat Pro that has all that info.

why you say that?

to be honest though i bought my brand new 13" macbook pro for 1200.

if you want one, i would say go for an epic [new] computer. if you have that much money to spend now, i'm sure a couple more weeks wouldn't hurt for a brand new one because if you're gonna buy a new computer, you mind as well buy one that would last for some time.

I'm loving my new MBP. It makes my Dell laptop look like a piece of junk.

Thanks Acosmichippo..I downloaded that istat pro widget. It is really awesome with the info it has on it.
