Interesting you said that, I looked at reviews of Parallels and Fusion, and Fusion seemed to come out on top. In my SW development days i was friends with the Smith Micro guys so their product make sense to me. I'll get it installed soon, gotta find a Vista key among the several I have to install a fresh full version, not an upgrade. I still have to run a quad core Vista system for my Apache server and weather station, but I'm moving all my personal stuff the the MBP.

STORE??? There isn't an Apple store within 4 hours of here. I would have to drive over the Rocky Mountains to the front range Denver area to get one from a store. Bought online with the educational discount.

I got my macbook at the san francisco store, and took bart home. I was so scared that someone was going to try to snatch and run! That was one intense ride home....

Don't really have that luxury up in northern MD. Closest Apple store is 30 miles south of me in Bethesda. 30 miles may not seem like much until you factor the traffic and having to shlep 3 cat-scratching girls.

Made me big supporter of shipping.

I was born and raised in NE Baltimore so I know it isn't that tough getting around Eragon. LOL. 30 miles? We drive that for an impromptu dinner date. phtttt. You easterners are spoiled.

Tip: goto the mouse settings in system prefs. You can setup your trackpad to right click by tapping two fingers, and also you can scroll with two fingers.

Tip: command + spacebar opens up the spotlight. I use that a LOT to find apps and such. I always do cmd + space then type sys and hit enter to get to system preferences.

Yep, that's my favorite shortcut. I don't particularly like having to navigate to find an application. I do like being able to find it within seconds though.
