Default Mac is messed up.

I just installed software update 10.5.6, and in my battery percentage it said I had 0% while being connected to the AC for about 10 minutes. Now it says I have 7% but every time I remove the AC cable my computer shuts off. What should I do??

i would take your battery out for a few minutes, and then put it back in.

if that doesn't help, it's probably a bad battery. Is your mac under warranty?

No its not under warranty. I just bought a battery like 5 months ago, its practically brand new.I wasn't having problems with it until I updated.

Witness, have you noticed anything else strange about 10.5.6. Since installing 10.5.6, I can't shake the feeling that my iMac has been more sluggish.

Yes it has! Is there any way to downgrade?

Wow, I feel like an idiot. One of my battery prongs wasn't connected right, I noticed when I was taking out the battery. Thanks for your help guys.

Cool. Plus you could always reset the battery indicator. It involved taking the battery out and pressing some buttons, but it basically resets your battery to "new" and probably a more accurate display of health.
