Does anyone know of a chill pad that actually works i tried a few and did not see any drop in temp?
Chill pads work by supplementing the computer's built-in fans with extra ones to maximize airflow. The problem is the macbooks don't have vents on the bottom of the computers to take advantage of the extra fans. The MBPs circulate air through the back of the machine near the LCD hinge, so if you want the same effect, you'll have to set a fan back there.
