Do I need to install the disk that came with the TimeCapsule into the MBA and the other 2 macs I own prior to turning on and setting up TimeCapsule?
Any one set up TimeCapsule with multiple Macs, please chime in.
Thanks
Anthony
No one? Just wanted to know if they could all be set up at once or if one at a time.
well, i haven't used one (yet), but if it's like i imagine, you'll probably have to set up the router first (encryption and all that)... once you do that it's just a matter of sharing the drive. you should only have to do all that stuff on one computer (connected via ethernet). Once that's good to go, all you should have to do is connect all of your other macs to the network.
i actually went to the apple store today to get one, but they were out of the 500GB model.
