there is a difference between refurb and return (aka open box)
Refurb implies it was broken, returned/replaced, then repaired to factory condition. If the question is simply how soon til someone returns it because they don't like it, then under. But as far as breaking it goes... Thing looks pretty solid. I would be surprised if it takes less than 3 months.

I say definitely over because the MacBook Air has been selling out like crazy and Apple hasn't even had time to produce enough to satisfy the needs of all the people that want one for the regular price, so I don't see them having enough time to produce/fix enough to put up refurbs.
