Let's all relax and enjoy our MBA pics! For all the chefs out there: "Reflections of MBA in Self-Cleaning Oven". A bit fuzzy iPhone pic not without charm.

I didn't know whether to post this here or in the "Post here, don't read" thread, but I figured the Mac area really needed more traffic.

i would think the topic is open for anyone that appreciates the MBA, regardless of the thread title naming 2 people. But I don't see any invitation for prepubescent whining and insults. If you have a problem there is a proper platform for filing complaints and if you feel your complaint is relevant to the betterment of this site I would suggest that you take action in a constructive manner instead of bickering back and forth with everyone. I'm not saying whether you are right or wrong with your original complaint, just saying there's a proper way to address a complaint and the proper way would probably yield better results than your current ranting.

nice! i hope the kids or dog don't come running through the house and trample that little MBA while it's sitting on the floor!

They know better than risk to trigger the maternal ire.
The dog weighs 12 pounds and knows better too...

lol

ugh the more I see the MBA the harder it is to resist getting one. I don't know what it is about it. I like my MacBook and it does everything I need, but that MBA sure would be convenient when travelling or going to meetings.

I mean that the Mac forum doesn't get as much traffic as the General Discussion and iPhone forums.

I love mine. Even though I have a MBP, I now prefer to take the baby to work. It's so light, I can still watch TV on it, I can still run my Windoze apps for work, and I don't feel like I'm hauling a suitcase to work every day.

Default MBA more popular than anybody expected.

Including me! But I understand now, typing from the only safe haven in my house, the top of my small TV in the upstairs bathroom, where MBA fits comfortably, as it fits anywhere.

" It might not be the iPhone, but the MacBook Air is selling much stronger than many of us would have guessed. After a full month of being on the market, the MacBook Air is still a difficult commodity to obtain in some markets (not all), and Apple is still quoting a 5-7 business day minimum shipping time even for the most standard models ordered from its web site.
Meanwhile, Amazon won't be shipping orders until March 16 now, and many customers who run to a Best Buy thinking they'll find one hiding out there will be surprised: there aren't many to go around. One Best Buy source (not a retail floor worker) told me that Apple has kept them pretty thin on stock. Now I can see why."

I love mine too. It's been great! Used it at work today for several hours, with some heavy tasking. I was VERY impressed.

BTW - Due to the lack of MBA's, BB is trying to get me to upgrade to the MBP for no restocking fee b/c of the dead pixel on my MBA.
