Intego VirusBarrier X5

Hi everyone,
I know virus's are rare in MacOSX, but I'm stilled concerned about the possibility of getting a Trojan, so this morning I bought Internet security barrier X5, which includes net barrier and virus barrier. I set Net barrier to protect against Trojans, but there is no on demand scanner in net barrier that I can find. I scanned my computer with Virus barrier and it came back clean, "no virus's found".

Will Virus barrier find and attempt to remove Trojans?
If not, is there a way to scan for Trojans (that might already be on the computer) with net barrier?
