tip for Leopard backup .

Quick tip to upgrade then erase install .

ok . so some might know this .. but ..
do the upgrade from Tiger to leopard . then use time machine to backup. I have a 500GB external hard drive so i had plenty of room ..

then . - for a much cleaner install .
do a erase install . after install , click time machine . it will ask do you want to backup from previous time machine. hmm . YES I DO !!
so then select files you want to restore from your most recent date you backuped. simple as that !
I did this for my music to put back to my itunes . and also my iphone backup !

reason for this - My address book was all screwed up i could not edit or add anything . i tried multiple things like permissions and all that . so it did not work ... NOW it works
