Default Puff of smoke!

After click on MacHD icon on my desktop the usual list came up under devices i.e. all my drives. This always included an 'idisk' or idrive' icant remember...and heres why. I went to drag this idisk/idrive icon to my desktop and the puff it disappeared gone nada...I was just trying to make it a desktop shortcut.

Any ideas??? I want it back

If I am understanding correctly you can go to finder-preferences-sidebar. Make sure idisk is checked. Is some how became unchecked.

You erased the iDisk from your device list by doing that. If your iDisk is mounted (Go>iDisk>my iDisk), it should appear on the desktop as icon with you screen name. You can just bring that icon directly in your list of devices and it will reappear there.

Sorry for the stupid questions but how do I get it back? I cant get it under finder to show on my Mac , it's not on my desktop, its not in my trash just gone. You'd think they'd give idiots like me a warning...I was just trying to put it on my desktop with a drag and drop i.e. the usual way. If you can help me get her back I sure would appreciate it.

Do you or don't you have your iDisk on the desktop???

If you don't, just restart! Go to finder>go>iDisk>my iDisk, an it will mount.
