Default mac mail question

SO i was wondering how i can make a folder for my "saved emails" so that way it stores it on the server not my mac. so i can have it on my phone and mac

mail is not synced with the iPhone. There are several ways to make it sync, but the easiest is a mobileme account. It isn't free but has significant benefits.

If your email provider offers IMAP in addition to POP you can also just set up both to use IMAP and all messages will appear on both devices.

One way to do that with MobileMe/.Mac is to use advice from a Macworld article back in March to put emails in either Action, Filed or Later. That way it keeps your inbox empty or at least manageable. Here's the article:

These days, you don't need a million folders, especially with Spotlight search. Just type in what you're looking for.
