Question iPhone on Desktop

I am working on Mac Format. When I hook the iPhone up to the computer and iTunes begins, should I also see the iPhone on the desktop of the computer?

Nope. iTunes will fire up and that's the only place you'll 'see' the phone.

when you run iphoneinterface, you are communicating to the phone via FTP not simply a hard disk drive

Definetly take a look at the iPhone software forum. Please be careful, there are many ways to screw up your phone permanently.

The iphone software forum is a good start. I also saw a pretty cool Matrix skin posted today on modmyiphone.

Good luck!
