I bought my Mac because, Yes, it is THE perfect combination.
In a nutshell, I have my digital life on my iPhone and I want to protect it but I don't want to running a virtual Fort Knox on my computer to do it. On Mac, I don't need to.

You guys are going to make me cry! (OK, not really)
I've had a lovely Mac digital/wireless-airport life for a long time, and the iPhone was the icing on the cake.

I've always used Macs, I just kept them in their own room as my workhorses for Print when I need to output Quark documents, and as such I forgot about them in my PC days. They're pre Intel, and they still do their job so I've never had a reason to update to an Intel inside Mac.
All that changed when I got my iPhone, I wanted to sync it with a Mac because I knew it would let me do more between the both of them than I could with an iPhone -> PC setup, as well as the obvious security reasons. Now that I'm on a current Mac, it screams comared to my PCs so they are now in their own little room, soon to be forgotten, lol.
2 PPC iMacs
1 G5
2 24" Alu iMacs
3 iPhones

I'm getting an iMac at the end of next month, and I can't wait!!! I'm so new to computers and all, I'm a bit nervous about learning how to use it, like getting my dvd's onto my iphone with a mac, I guess that's just as easy, I have a program on my pc for that, really looking forward to iLife!

Yep, my macbook is my first computer. I held out on learning one as long as I could but the Macbook has made for a real user friendly experience and not alot of headaches.
