Did they give you a refund? I am afraid of doing "anything" to my firmware on my iPhone. I read some forums and bought a piggy back sim. look around on the net. ive bought one from http://321iphoneunlocking.com and it works perfectly (had ATT now verizon; 3g 2.2).

Why would you ever do something like those? You can unlock any iPhone for free right on your iPhone...
