Why does iTunes sort incorrectly?
I imported some TV shows today, and iTunes won't display them in the proper order. As far as i can tell, all of the sort fields are correct, as well as the episode numbers ant titles... why else would they display like this?
 the ones i imported today are 1.09-1.13, which, as you can see, are the ones that are out of order.

as it is now, i have it sorted by "Show"...
...but assuming it was sorted by date added, it would be exactly backwards, don't you think? i ripped them in order...

You get props in my book. 3rd Rock From the Sun is one of my all-time favorite TV shows.
Have you tried entering more information about the details of the show? I've found that if you go in and change the "Track Number"? I know that for my episodes of Entourage that were out of order putting in the TN and total number of episodes for the season got them situated.  Also, just make sure you enter the season and episode numbers in there as well. Hopefully one of those two ideas will work.

well, after i installed the 10.5.3 update and restarted they display fine.
maybe all of the pointers didn't get updated for whatever reason...
