Default What happens after your iPhone is used on 5 different pc's

I have formated my laptop and desktop several times.. Few days ago when i installed itunes after reformating my laptop... i got a msg saying this is the 5th attempt out of 5 of using my iphone with this computer..

i am curios to know what happens next? ...

You're only allowed to authorize five computers at a time for use with your iTunes account. You can, once a year, request that all of your computers be deauthorized to cover cases such as yours:

I'm not sure if that's the issue... iTunes should recognize one physical computer no matter how many times it's formatted.

And the message he/she got looked iPod-specific...

At any rate, I don't know what else could be causing that.

I've had the same issues in the past. I also have multiple operating systems installed on different drive in my PC.

true, different OSes will do that...

i have reinstalled the same OS on the same computer more times than i can count, and have never had itunes count it as any more than one authorization.

oh well.
