uninstall itunes 8.2 and replace with 8.1 with windows

    Go to youe control panel>Add Remove Programs

    Uninstall. Then reinstall.

    Yeeah i tried that, after reinstalling 8.1 and plugging in iPod it says, version is later than version installed please visit iTunes to download latest version and reinstall

    Try uninstalling, and uninstalling the apple mobile device support, then reinstall 8.1.

    Where can i get the exe or dmg for 8.1.1? tried search with no luck

    If you have any trouble uninstalling and reinstalling itunes you will want to check out this link...

    It can keep you from going nuts and is worth it!!
