    Stopping download

I accidentally started to download a free HD episode from itunes. Its around 2.5 GB. Now, I don't have that kind of bandwidth to allow it to download and then delete it. Is there any way to prevent it from downloading? When I delete it, its just temp, and when I check for the iPhone app updates, it starts to download again.

    Suggestions?!

I'd be interested in the solution to this too. I have 8 free downloads that I keep deleting and they keep reappearing. For about 6 months now. I love to know how to get rid of them for good!

I found the solution for this this morning. I could not get the Navigon app to successfully complete the download process, I had three partially downloaded Navigon duplicates in my iTunes downloads cache. Killing them was impossible, every time I opened iTunes, they were back and waiting for me to resume the downloads.

I called Apple Tech support this morning and they consulted with an iTunes rep who was then able to clear my downloads cache. They also refunded my money for Navigon since I couldn't get it to complete the download process.

So, calling them and having them delete your download cache will take a few minutes, but that's the way to go if you want these undead downloads to be gone for good.
