Default iTunes song management

I have a music folder with 4000+ songs in there. They are very unorganized and span a period of 10 years...

I just finished doing the meta data (mostly just song name and artist, some albums info) into itunes for about 900 of the songs (which are also on my iphone).

I'm wondering if there's a way to consolidate these 900 songs into the itunes music folder AND at the same time delete them from my music folder so that I only have the remaining songs left to organize/delete, etc... Is there a simple way to do this?

Google "FixTunes". It automatically fixes your library. Also, "Magic MP3 Tagger" is another option. Both cost money.
