iTunes has stopped working
On my Windows Vista PC, every time that I tried to play a video in iTunes, I got a message that iTunes has stopped working. I has the same problem with Quicktime. I have the latest iTunes and Quicktime and the latest drivers for my video card. I tried a number of solutions found on forums around the net.. uninstalling Nero, Divx etc. Finally I found a solution on my own that works. Go to Quicktime in Control. On the Advanced tab, deselect 'Enable Direct3D video acceleration. Voila. Now both Quicktime and iTunes will play video on my Windows Vista machine.
