Default iTunes error code 1009!!! CANT DOWNLOAD APPS!

Hi. I have an iPod Touch+a Windows Vista computer. I have never had any problems buying anything from iTunes, but since I updated my iPod to the 2.0 software, it is not letting me download any apps and keeps saying cannot process the request, error code 1009. What does this mean? What am I doing wrong? I want to buy some apps and it is not letting me. It gives me the same problem on the app store application on the iPod Touch also. Help please!

I tried to search Google for an answer to your problem, but it looks like you've got your bases covered! Meaning: all the results I found were YOU asking the question! LOL

Have you tried restoring your iPhone and restoring as a NEW iPhone? That might fix the problem. Or, you could try completely removing iTunes (making sure to get all of it removed) and re-install.

Good luck. I know this is frustrating for you!
