Default iTunes 9 and converting to AAC???

Is this still possible with iTunes 9.0?

I right click on a song and it says "convert to mp3"....

On iTunes 8.2 it gave me the option to convert to AAC.

Trying to convert mp3s to ringtones and I don't know what other program will convert to AAC.'

Thanks.

Jim

I'm having the same problem. Did they remove to "convert to AAC" option?

The options available in the context menu regarding import format is dictated by the setting in Preferences/General/Import Settings. Choose the AAC encoder to get the option to convert to AAC.
