Downloading it now, it supposedly improves performance and stability

It would be nice if it came with an update for the iPhone that improved performance and stability

Hopefully this isn't a stupid question.
However if I just plug my iphone in to my pc after i've updated itunes, it should update the iphone right? I don't have to do anything else?

I know how to update itunes, I'm just making sure that all that needs to be done after you've updated itunes is just plug your iphone in and it will update for itself. That's all

Well maybe someone else can just clarify if that's all that needs to be done to update your iphone. I'm moving from a Blackberry to this and on that I was pretty familiar with everything on it.

Awesome thanks a lot
iTunes only checks for update on a certain day (it gives you a date), unless you click check for update.
