itunes 7.4 is 7.4.1 the same thing?

Hi have an unlocked iphone in the UK & have been told to use itunes 7.4 or my phone will lock.

downloaded 7.3 but error message appeared sayingcannot interact with iphone, i need 7.4 or higher.

have found 7.4.1 to download but will i lock my phone if i use this?

I know nothing about unlocking so I can't really provide an answer.

However, 7.4 and 7.4.1 are not the same thing. They might both work, but they aren't the same.
