Default Can u move content of old itunes account on to a new mac & into a new Itunes account?

Hoping someone here can help & I can write this in a way that makes sense

Years ago I set up my Itunes account on my mum & dads PC. I had and ipod & iphone I used on this PC computer and this Itunes account. Mum & dad also got Ipods and along the way have created a big library on my account.

Now i'm not a struggling student and moved out of home I have just purchased a Macbook pro and I dont want to be running to mum & dads everytime I want to sycn my phone or ipod with my account on their computer.

Ive read through on here how to bak up the library and move it on to my macbook pro BUT I don't want to share this account with my parents (different music tastes, but more so purchasing etc & credit balances)
Can they either set up a new account and transfer music over, as they only have ipods to play with. Or can I leave my account on their PC and make a new one without losing everything, transfer off one Itunes account on to a new computer and a new Itunes account?

What should I do?

& what implications does this have for my Iphone if i want to hook it up to a new Itunes account, new computer and want to sync it, can I do that?
or is it linked to my other itunes account only? Im concerned about my Iphone & sync it as it is my fav toy at the moment and I dont want to mess with it

I can not logistically go on running to Mum & dads every time I want to sync my phone or add new music & mum & dad dont want to lose their music either which is in my account.
Whatever way I need to get Itunes on My Macbook Pro at my house...

Am a little frustrated with myself trying to figure a way around this, any advice would be greatly appreciated

First, you can't transfer purchased content from one iTunes account to another. The content will always be associated with the account with which it was purchased at the file level, unless you use methods to strip this from them (e.g., burning the music to CDs and the re-importing the music back to your computer).

However, there is definitely a way to do what you want without needing to create a new account for yourself. You can authorize up to 5 computers to use your iTunes account - this is meant as a way for families with multiple computers in the same house to use a single iTunes account. So, you can simply transfer your music library to your new MacBook Pro under your existing iTunes account. You can leave your account as is on your parents' computer and ask them to set up new accounts for themselves so that any future purchases they make are not on your account. They will still be able to access the music they purchased under your account and there will be no negative effects for you or them.

Before you leave for school, you may just want to be sure that they have logged out of your iTunes account on their computer and that they are logged in to their new account so that they don't buy anything under yours accidentally. If there are songs, apps, and other content on their computer that they don't need, you can simply delete it from their computer after you've copied the library to your Mac so they can only keep what they want.
