Default Album Covers in iTunes

I'm getting iTunes ready (latest version 9.0.1.8) for my iPhone I am going to buy next month by loading songs from my CDs to be loaded. There are some CDs i.e. AC/DC and The Beatles that do not have the album covers showing when Music is clicked. I have Googled this and found a non-working free program I downloaded. Also, I found a way that somehow I could copy and paste the covers into iTunes but wasnt able to do it ( must have been for an older version of iTunes)

Whats the easiest way that I can get album covers loaded into iTunes, so I can later sync it to my phone?

It's still possible to copy and paste album art into iTunes - I just did it in iTunes 9.0.1. When you find artwork on the internet, copy the image, and then go to the album or song you want to use it for, right click with your mouse and select Get Info in the contextual menu. Click in the space where artwork should be shown and paste it there.

I know of a Mac program that can automatically find artwork and lyrics - are you on a Mac or PC?

I have a PC with Windows XP 2002 Service Pack 3 OS. I forgot to include in my first post that I found a free program that would get the artwork from amazon.com, but the program no longer worked.

I'll try what you suggested Macgirl and will post if that worked, TY.

I figured out how to do it. I searched for the album art from Images in Google and copied and pasted inside the Get Info window of the albums in iTunes.

I had to get the Grid view of the albums and right clicked on the album to get a drop down box with the Get Info choice. Inside the box was an artwork box where you can paste it.
