Syncing ipod

How can u put music from an old ipod into the itunes library then onto ur ipod touch...i dont have the music files anymore cuz i got a new computer so they are just on the old ipod..and i want to add them to the library along with the new music ive dowloaded..can it be done?

I did this with my old iPod classic. you just put it into disk mode, then copy the files over, but I don't think you can do that with the iPod Touch.
