shuffle issue

my ipod touch is constantly shuffling tracks, i start listening to one of my albums and then it shuffles onto something else!

i'll doen all the simple things like turning it on and off, but i go back into the ipod section and i dont select shuffle at the top of the songs list and it just shuffles again whenever i select the next song or whenever the songs finished!

any ideas???

i would try removing all of your media from the ipod, and then putting it all back on. There could be irregularities in the file system.

if you still have problems after that, restoring will probably be your best bet.
