Default Saving Network Settings

A little background: We have a wireless network. The router is using WPA2 and I've also required MAC address filtering. I also have the SSID broadcast "OFF".

After I have entered the iPod MAC into the router as being valid, when I enable the broadcast and we enter the the passcode we can connect.

If I disable SSID broadcast, and if we cycle power on the touch, when the touch is back up, we cannot connect to the wifi network without re-entering the pass phrase.

Does anyone know how to save this information so that it actc more like my notebook computer (i.e. it remembers the network SSID and pass phrase and automatically detects the network and connects)?????

Thanks in advance for the help.
