Restore issue

I have done the restore and have updated to 2.2.1 as well but again i have the same issue as earlier where i coudnt access ther home page now I can only play music but when i press the home button the main screen dosent come and so i cant use any other option apart from music

while restoring i had kept my original setting when i got pop that do u want to save your settigs ....... is the issue because of that

Maybe do a "force restore" by holding the On button and the Home button simultaneously for a few seconds, then plug into your PC which launches iTunes > click Restore button on screen. I had to do this when my iTouch got completely hosed during the upgrade to 2.2.1, and I called the Apple store who instructed me to do this. It worked. Good luck.
