I ran the quickpwn... seemed to be successful. Now stuck on apple logo. I rebooted, and it's telling me I have to restore? Is that what I should do?![]()
At this point you are probably going to have to restore and rerun the QuickPWN software. It seems as if something went awry in the process.

Bear with me.... middle-aged Mom trying to be techie! ha ha! so... what is it SUPPOSED to do after quickpwn? It did have new screens, etc... and seemed to be downloading the new stuff. Just not sure what to do next? I tried reading and re-reading instructional pages....
No problem at all. As you use QuickPWN you should get the message to hold down the sleep and hold button and then carefully time the release of each of these buttons. This will put the phone into DFU mode which is the restore mode for the phone. If QuickPWN ran successfully, you should be told that it succeeded and to wait a few moments. On the screen you will see scrolling text in addition to a hard drive looking image. After a couple of minutes (no more than 4 or 5 at the very most) the phone will reset itself and will bring you to the slide to unlock screen.
Are you on an AT&T plan with the iPhone? If so, go ahead and restore in iTunes and just try running the QuickPWN software again.
ALSO! Make sure that if you are on 2.2.1 firmware that you are using the most up to date QuickPwn software because if not the QuickPWN software will malfunction.

It did the hold down home button, then power button, blah blah.. went blank, then reset... some new screens came up (comic book guy?) said installing flash...etc... then screen on quickpwn said successful. And then?? it said to connect to itunes... so I did, then an error message comes up saying itunes cannot connect unless I do restore?
The exact error message is "The Ipod (pearlgarden) could not be synced. The disk cannot be read or written to."
Is iTunes running at the same time that QuickPWN is? If so, try closing out of iTunes completely and running the QuickPWN software again. It seems like a headache but it will be worth it.

Make sure you close itunes when you do the quickpwn process and anything to do with itunes, this happened when I did mine first and when I checked the task manager (ctrl alt del) I saw an itunes process was still running in the background. Closed that down and away I went!
