iTouch not charging?

Over this last weekend, my friend updated my iTouch to 2.0. Now, I can't charge my ipod with my wall charger. Neither does my computer reconize it. Though I do not have itunes, my computer would say that I connected something. I even believe that over my friends house it charged after the update. Is there something up with my iTouch, or does that new update require a new wall charger, or itunes 7.7? I hope so, at least then my ipod wouldn't be broken. Anyway, I am getting a laptop soon, hopefully compatible with itunes.

2.0 does not require a new wall charger, so the no charging part is weird, but it does require iTunes 7.7. Once you get iTunes, try to get it to recognize the iPhone and Restore it. This will most likely fix the charging issue.
