iPod touch 3GS? Just a Rumor?

Does anyone suppose that since and iphone 3GS is out or coming out, anytime soon, a iPod touch 3GS would come out? or is the ipod touch just gonna stay and just new firmware (2.0) with the app store and all. iPod touch 3GS , it is a rumor or not? Frankly, I am not sure. I hope it may become reality not just a rumor.

i Highly doubt that because you would have to have Cell service to have access to 3G ....They may make it faster but as far as 3G on a Ipod i dont think so...
