downloading photos from pc to ipod touch?

Just wanted to say hi and i have actually had my question answered by someone here so thank you Hfindlay(sp)
I downloaded the update and went off happily, but then a while later went to touch the music icon, went on then the music screen was a comlete blank with just time and ipod logo in top corner. i tried to sync my ipod again, but the screen stayed blank. I read here to press the on and home button at the same time, and hey presto my music list is back on there. so thank you.

Can i download my photos on comp to my ipod touch, have had a mess around and cant seen to get them on ...............any comments would be good.
