Can I block the wifi on the iTouch?

I just ordered an iTouch for my daughter and I didn't realize it had internet capability. Is there a way to block her from using the wifi when she's out of the house? She's very techo savy and will easily figure out how to turn it on but I'm hoping there is a way to password protect or disable the functions.

I think you can use the parental controls to block Safari, Music Store, and the App Store which basically makes the Wi-Fi useless.
