Can you describe how you downloaded them? Through iTunes? Some other source? What happens when you connect your iTouch to your computer and try to sync through iTunes?

Wait you downloaded them to your desktop
 -I thought you could download apps from the iTouches wi-fi, or download them from iTunes...and iTunes would just set it into the applications tab? They wouldnt happen to be cracked apps...now would they
