The cost is $9.95 I'm pretty sure.

Don't think anyone knows just yet exactly what the process will be for Touch users - assume once you pay your money, you'll get a very similar update file to the one iPhone users get ...

mobileme syncing, mail, calendar, maps, exchange support... maybe more.

for what it's worth i think it's crappy you have to pay to get it.

The 2.0 software for the iPod Touch is exactly the same, except the pricing. While $10 is a bit steep, I'd gladly pay for it due to all the features it adds, providing I had a Touch.

10 dollars is infinitely more than i will have to pay to get it on my iphone... i'd consider that a lot.

I think the vast majority of the 2.0 features, plus Exchange / MobileMe support etc. should be on it, but think some of the things like GPS are not going to be on the Touch ...

True, but if I have to pay $10 to get the AppStore, so be it.

Oh, absolutely. If I was a Touch owner, I'd pay that no worries. The 2.0 software and the App Store are the really huge moves forward, much moreso than just the 3G model IMO ...
