If you know how to login to your wireless router, it is easy to reset the passphrase for your network.

If you don't know the username / password combo for your router (and you're sure it's not been changed by you or anyone else at home), do a Google search for the manufacturer / model with the words 'default password' thrown in, and you'll likely find it.

Also, tell us in this thread what make / model and folks can probably help you navigate in its admin screens to where to reset passphrase etc.

Most router's have a reset button. You push it in with a pen tip. This sets the router back to the way it came from the factory.

Remember, this erases all your settings, so you will need to re-set up everything.

Then use the info for the generic admin and password from the manufacturer to get in to the router. Might want to obtain this while you have interent access and then push the reset button.

Depending what wireless router you use there will be a way to connect to the router and re-set the password.

For example there maybe be a URL similar to: http://192.168.1.1 (default username and password admin/admin)
