I purchased my 1st itouch a (2G), I downloaded some pictures, how do I remove photos from the it..?..Thx

When you connect the device to your computer, does it show up in the file/folder listing on the computer? If so, navigate to it and you should have some folders that represent your Camera Roll folder as well as your own previously copied photos (Photo Library folder).

Also, when viewing a photo from your Camera Roll, you can tap to bring up the menu overlay and choose the trash can icon to delete it.
