For iPod Touch Software discussion...not third party

We're still doing some housecleaning when it comes to the forums. Right now, this topic is strictly for discussion of software that ships with the iPod Touch. For third party apps, we have a dedicated forum. Since both iPhone and iPod Touch users are using the same third party apps, it makes sense to have everyone in on that topic.

I just bought the $20 software addon package from Apple and love it. The maps program is phenomenal. It can use wifi to show your position. The mail program works flawlessly to read mail. I am having trouble sending mail through earthlink since earthlink expects email to be sent from a secure site, not a wifi connection. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem?
