Apollo help

I installed Apollo onto my touch and everytime I try to log into my account a message comes up that says " [my email address] Connection error from Notification server: Unable to connect" and it happens when I'm on or off a wifi connection (I can understand it comming up for not being connected). Any suggestions? I read another post very similar to this but it talked about SSH clients and whatnot and I've never delt with that stuff before so I was sondering if there is another way?
