Default Urgent: Please Help! ZiPhone possible brick!

Ok, ok, any help please would be significantly aprreciated.
Ok, so yesterday, I downgraded my firmware to 1.1.1 (off 1.1.4), jailbroke my iPod (iPod touch, 8 GB). Installed things, loved it. Then I installed an app that messed it up, so this morning I restored the iPod to 1.1.1 again, and tried jailbreaking with ZiPhone. Didn't work, and jailbreakme.com's server was down, I ran out of time, and went to school. I come home, turn on my Ipod, and all I see is white scrolling text. Itunes detects the ipod, but can't recognize it. I've tried restarting the thing (DFU mode), still get the text. I've tried jailbreaking it with ZiPhone, and it says my Ipod is in DFU mode, and says I need to restore it in iTunes before doing anything else. Except, iTunes doesn't recognize it and I have white scrolling text on the screen!!!! The line that repeats over and over gain on it reads as follows:

BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0

PLEASE HELP ME!
Thank you soooo much in advance.

Do you mind telling us exactly what happened / how you fixed it?

Well, sice the restart in recovery mode didn't work, and iTunes detected my iPod, but couldn't recognize it, what I did was hold down the Home button, and connect the iPod to my computer. Then iTunes recognized it, and I was able to do a restore from there. Very scary though. now I'm successfully running a 1.1.1 jailbreak on it, and I love it.

Yeah, I know that. ZiPhone recognized it in DFU mode, but said I had to connect it to iTunes to restore it first, which I couldn't do because iTunes couldn't recognize my iPod. So holding down Home and then connecting it worked, and I got the screen to resotre my iPod.
